1. Job Overview

Forklift operators are important professionals in the field of industrial handling vehicles. They are mainly responsible for driving forklifts to load, unload, and stack goods in warehouses, factories, logistics centers, and other locations.

 

2. Job Responsibilities

 

Loading and Unloading of Goods

Using the forklift's fork to accurately insert the bottom of the goods, smoothly lift and place them in a designated location, such as a truck carriage, shelf, etc. For example, in a logistics warehouse, move the goods unloaded from the transport vehicle to the storage area.

 

Transportation of Goods

Drive the forklift within the working area, transporting goods from one location to another. For example, transporting finished products completed on the production line from the workshop to the finished product warehouse.

 

Stacking of Goods

Arrange goods neatly on shelves or stacks according to the specified requirements and standards, to fully utilize space and ensure the stability of goods. A common example is stacking goods to the corresponding shelf heights at a supermarket distribution center.

 

Equipment Inspection and Maintenance

Check the forklift before work every day, including tire pressure, oil level, brake system, etc., to ensure that the forklift is in good working condition. If a fault or anomaly is found, report it promptly and assist maintenance personnel in repairing it.

 

Safe Operation

Strictly follow the safety regulations for forklift operation, and wear necessary personal protective equipment, such as helmets and safety belts.

 

3. Job Requirements

Professional Skills
